Belpre is home to the first library established in the Northwest territory. Its public school hired the first female schoolteacher in the northwest territory. Her name was Bathsheba Rouse. She taught in the Farmers’ Castle Fort during the Indian uprisings (1791-1795).

Our Class song was Win by Brian McKnight. Every time i hear this song i think of my graduating class.The lyrics ring true to this day to always try and never give up."
